Meet our executive team

Antonio Silvestri | Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Tony is responsible for the overall growth strategy and delivery of the Group’s key objectives. His primary focus is to lever sector synergies across the Group’s activities particularly in the construction sector, as well as to broaden and diversify the Group’s operating base.
Over the last thirty years, Tony has been a leading figure in the flat roofing industry having started as a young trainee with Calendars and finishing his roofing career as CEO of Langley UK Ltd, a Cavello subsidiary. Working collaboratively with exceptional and committed people, he took the business from £5.5M turnover in 2008 with 18 employees to £40M by 2024 with 160 employees.
As a trained building surveyor and with over thirty years’ experience, Tony has a comprehensive understanding of the construction sector and is passionate about teamwork, innovation, added value and differentiation delivered through strong, value driven people and the products and services that Cavello Group provides.

Roger Williams | Chief Financial Officer
Roger Williams is the Chief Financial Officer of Cavello Group, responsible for the financial strategy, governance, and operational integrity of the Group’s diverse business interests. A qualified Finance and Operations Director, Roger brings a wealth of experience from both corporate and SME environments, particularly those with complex structures and ambitious growth trajectories.
Since joining Cavello seven years ago, Roger has worked closely with Tony and the leadership team to build the robust financial systems and operational frameworks that support the Group’s continued expansion. His role extends beyond finance, contributing significantly to group-wide policy and governance as a member of the Group Policy Committee.
Roger is passionate about creating scalable financial models, embedding strong governance, and enabling strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. His calm, analytical approach and deep understanding of business operations make him a key pillar in Cavello’s leadership team.

Giuliano Silvestri | Chief Operating Officer
Giuliano Silvestri is the Chief Operating Officer for the Cavello Group overseeing the day-to-day administration and operational functions across all Cavello Group business units.
Before joining Cavello, Giuliano spent 18 years within the Transportation and Logistics sector working for DPD as Head of PMO and Client Services, where he played a key role in its phenomenal growth, seeing DPD double in size, since 2013, to over £2bn in annual turnover.
With a background in IT & Project Management for over 22 years, Giuliano has overseen the delivery of innovative award-winning products and services together with extensive experience creating and implementing Digital Transformation strategies ensuring organisations remain agile and prepared for change.

Richard Eldred | Associate Director – Change Management
Richard Eldred is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of corporate experience, including 10 years dedicated to leading complex project delivery and transformational change in the logistics sector. As Associate Director for Change Management, Richard plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that drive organisational growth, resilience, and innovation.
Throughout his career, Richard has held senior roles across management and learning & development, equipping him with a deep understanding of how to align people, processes, and culture to deliver lasting impact. His leadership is defined by a pragmatic, people-first approach—empowering teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring change is not only implemented but embraced.
Richard is passionate about building change capability across organizations, enabling leaders and teams to navigate uncertainty with confidence. His track record includes successful delivery of enterprise-wide programs, embedding agile ways of working, and cultivating high-performance cultures.

Sophie Hugman | Head of Marketing
Sophie Hugman is Head of Marketing, leading the company’s strategic marketing direction, brand positioning, and corporate communications . She ensures the marketing function is aligned to commercial priorities, strengthens market visibility, and supports long term business growth.
With over ten years’ experience across CRM, B2C, and B2B marketing roles, including within large-scale, customer centric organisations such as Specsavers. Sophie brings a breadth of commercial and strategic expertise. Her background spans campaign development, customer engagement, performance optimisation, and team leadership. She is data driven, outcomes focused, and experienced in managing budgets and agency partnerships to deliver measurable impact.
A decisive and people centred leader, Sophie is known for bringing clarity, momentum, and stability to complex projects and fast-moving environments. She recently achieved her CIM Level 6 Diploma and is committed to developing high-performing teams. Sophie leads the marketing function with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and performance, ensuring marketing consistently leads the business to operational excellence and success.

Owen Clemett | Associate Director – Commercial & Procurement
Owen Clemett is the Associate Director for Commercial & Procurement at Cavello Group, responsible for leading strategic procurement and commercial operations initiatives across the Group’s businesses. His role focuses on driving operational efficiency, leveraging the latest technology, and delivering value through robust supplier and stakeholder engagement.
Owen’s most recent roles at DPD, included leading a 70+ strong IT and commercial department, managing £20m+ Opex and £6m+ Capex budgets. He also authored the company’s IT Asset Management and IT Sustainability strategies. His work delivered multimillion-pound cost savings and introduced scalable systems supporting over 20,000 users across the UK.
Prior to DPD, Owen spent nearly a decade at Apple in leadership roles across operations and customer experience, supporting multiple product launches including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Owen has deep expertise in project delivery, service operations, and digital transformation and is also passionate about fostering innovation through collaboration.
